Winner Forum: A Masterpiece of Precision and Sustainability

Martin Schrodt's Award-Winning Office Building Design

In the realm of architectural design, Martin Schrodt's Winner Forum stands as a testament to precision, sustainability, and timeless elegance. This office building, a retreat from the bustling streetscape, is a unique blend of form and function, showcasing the designer's commitment to energy efficiency and high-quality design.

The Winner Forum is not just an office building; it's a statement. Schrodt's design inspiration came from the idea of creating a space that stands apart from its surroundings. The building's unique properties lie in its precision, sustainability, energy efficiency, and durability. These characteristics are not just buzzwords but are deeply embedded in every aspect of the building's design and construction.

The building's realization technology is a testament to Schrodt's innovative approach. The structure features a Rieder FibreC fibreglass-reinforced facade in liquid black ferro light, applied in a wild pattern that stretches like a scaly skin across the building. The segregation selected emphasizes the vertical lines, with window frames and sun protection merging with the facade. This stands in contrast with the sky boxes and entrance portal, made of Indiana Copper-coloured Alucobond, deliberately juxtaposing against the structure’s body.

With a width of 27,480 mm, depth of 13,980 mm, and height of 12,620 mm, the building covers a gross floor area of 1,150 square meters. The LED lighting concept is consistent with its use of SPINAled with light colour 3000 K and remote operation devices. The irregular arrangement of the SPINAled on the ceilings of the training rooms and foyer creates a sense of disordered calm, adding to the building's unique aesthetic.

The Winner Forum project started in January 2013 and was completed in July 2014. The design for the building is based on the following values: precision, sustainability, energy efficiency, and effectiveness with the goals of being long-lasting, low-maintenance, plane surfaces, timeless, and of high quality. The fibreglass-reinforced facade applied in a wild pattern that stretches like a scaly skin across the building. The chosen division emphasises the structure’s vertical lines.

The Winner Forum's design excellence has not gone unnoticed. In 2017, it was awarded the Golden A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award, a prestigious accolade granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom. These are venerated products and bright ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
